JACKSON, Miss. – Jackson Restaurant Week, presented by Associated Food Equipment & Supplies and hosted by Eat Jackson, was held April 15-21, 2012 in and around Jackson, Miss. Thirty four metro area restaurants participated in Jackson Restaurant Week by offering special menus throughout the week.

Patrons of the participating restaurants during Jackson Restaurant Week had the opportunity to vote for their favorite of five charity finalists in the running for a $10,000 Charity Check. The charity finalists were chosen from nominations by a panel of industry advisors. The five charity finalists during Spring 2012 Jackson Restaurant Week were Community Animal Rescue and Adoption (CARA), Friends of Children’s Hospital, Jackson Free Clinic, Magnolia Speech School, and The Mustard Seed.

And the Winner Is…

The winner of the $10,000 Charity Check for the Spring 2012 Jackson Restaurant Week is The Mustard Seed.
